# workspace_required

> Workspace required. HTTP 403, not retryable.

**HTTP 403: Workspace required.** Retrying the same request gives the same error. Errors never cost API credits.

Only on the MCP endpoint: the connection has no current workspace, for example after you were removed from it. Call `list_workspaces`, then `switch_workspace`.

**What to do:** Choose a workspace with switch\_workspace, then retry.

The response is `application/problem+json` (RFC 9457) and has a `Request-Id` header with the same `request_id`. See [all errors](/api-reference/errors).
