# role_required

> Owner or admin required. HTTP 403, not retryable.

**HTTP 403: Owner or admin required.** Retrying the same request gives the same error. Errors never cost API credits.

Owners and admins manage API keys in platform.alura.io. For saved research: only the person who created a folder or list, or a workspace owner or admin, can rename, move, change or delete it.

**What to do:** Ask a workspace owner or admin to manage API keys.

```json Response theme={null}
{
  "type": "https://docs.alura.io/errors/role_required",
  "title": "Owner or admin required",
  "status": 403,
  "code": "role_required",
  "detail": "Owner or admin required",
  "suggestion": "Ask a workspace owner or admin to manage API keys.",
  "retryable": false,
  "request_id": "req_01JQ5W3H8M2N4P6R8T0V2X4Z6B"
}
```

The response is `application/problem+json` (RFC 9457) and has a `Request-Id` header with the same `request_id`. See [all errors](/api-reference/errors).
