# not_found

> Not found. HTTP 404, not retryable.

**HTTP 404: Not found.** Retrying the same request gives the same error. Errors never cost API credits.

The `detail` names the endpoint that finds the item, for example a search.

**What to do:** Check the ID, or search for it first.

The response is `application/problem+json` (RFC 9457) and has a `Request-Id` header with the same `request_id`. See [all errors](/api-reference/errors).
