# internal_error

> Internal error. HTTP 500, retryable.

**HTTP 500: Internal error.** Retry the request: wait for `Retry-After` when the response has one. Errors never cost API credits.

Something failed on our side. Retry; if it keeps failing, contact support with the `request_id`.

**What to do:** Retry; if it keeps failing, report the request\_id.

The response is `application/problem+json` (RFC 9457) and has a `Request-Id` header with the same `request_id`. See [all errors](/api-reference/errors).
