# daily_credit_cap_exceeded

> Daily API credit ceiling reached. HTTP 429, retryable.

**HTTP 429: Daily API credit ceiling reached.** Retry the request: wait for `Retry-After` when the response has one. Errors never cost API credits.

Basic, Growth and Professional workspaces can spend a quarter of their monthly API credits in one UTC day. Free has no daily ceiling. The body adds `resets_at`, the next UTC midnight.

**What to do:** Retry after the next UTC midnight.
